Finished :)

Today I finished my create. It's kinda simple but all the information is there. Most of the pictures I have are print screened from Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Google Docs.

So my create is finished. Here's the link for my Prezi.I think it's quite successful.

Almost Finished with the Create

So I've finished working on the group wiki. I think it's pretty informative.

Today I put in all the information into my Prezi. The information was the information that should have gone in yesterday but because of the site not opening, I wasn't able to .

All I really need to do is to add a couple of images and create the path. I'm like 75% done.

Work I did

So I was about to put my information into my Prezi, but for some strange reason my internet won't open the whole Prezi website :/... so tomorrow in class I'll just fill in the blanks. I already have the information...so it won't be hard. I think it'll take me twenty minutes [give & take]. After it's all complete, I'll put it on the group wiki and I think that'll be everything.

I did work on the group wiki, my internet let me open that.

So I added a paragraph and a digram I found.

What Literacy is

Digital literacy is the ability to understand and use technology in the appropriate way. Also it is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and create information using digital technology. As well as being able to know when something is acceptable and when something is unacceptable. If someone does post something unacceptable, then that person is not being Digitally Literate and is Cyber Bullying.

If a person is not “Digitally Literate”, then they become part of the Digital Divide. Today, we depend on technology and use it on a daily basis. Technology is always changing and developing.

What Collaboration is

Collaboration means to work together with people locally and internationally.

To be digitally collaborative, it means to be working with people all over the world using the Internet.

What it is together

Together, Digital Literacy and Collaboration means to work online with other people from around the world, so using Web 2.0 tools such as wikis to work together.

Today we started off a bit late. So I didn't get as much accomplished. Also, for some weird reason my Prezi had problems loading, and kept crashing.

So today I mainly tried to find videos of literacy & collaboration on Youtube.

There aren't many videos actually there and the ones that looked like they had some potential, were absolutely useless.

On the group wiki, there wasn't much added to what I did last Wednesday, except a paragraph and and link. But in the history it looked like other people in my group had done lots of work. I'm kinda shocked that they would press edit then save without doing any work. It's kinda dishonest :/...

Mid way though create

Today I started to work on the collaborative wiki. On February 24th I only added my name. I thought we were supposed to create our own project first and then work on the wiki. I'm half way through finishing my own project.

So today I started to work on my part of the project. Only one person has added to the wiki, but what they added was very slim. I added some information and a print screen.

I found out some information and edited the other person's addition as it kinda didn't make sense.

I don't think it'll take me very long to finish the group wiki as it is quite straightforward and simple.

Once I've completed my Prezi, I'm going to upload it onto the group wiki and onto the ning.

Plan Reflection

The plan was quite easy to do. I think my only weakness was to make the steps really detailed. I kept forgetting that the instructions needed to be so detailed that a young child would be able to follow them and do it. Other than that, the plan was quite easy to write and to follow.
