What Literacy is
Digital literacy is the ability to understand and use technology in the appropriate way. Also it is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and create information using digital technology. As well as being able to know when something is acceptable and when something is unacceptable. If someone does post something unacceptable, then that person is not being Digitally Literate and is Cyber Bullying.
If a person is not “Digitally Literate”, then they become part of the Digital Divide. Today, we depend on technology and use it on a daily basis. Technology is always changing and developing.
What Collaboration is
Collaboration means to work together with people locally and internationally.
To be digitally collaborative, it means to be working with people all over the world using the Internet.
What it is together
Together, Digital Literacy and Collaboration means to work online with other people from around the world, so using Web 2.0 tools such as wikis to work together.
